Well kept site, very friendly helpful staff and knowledgeable wardens.
Very well laid out .clean and tidy pool and toilerss .
We stayed here in August this year, I had booked for 10 nights but we only stayed for 4 nights. The toilets are a 1/3 mile walk away which is ridiculous! How are you meant to go to the toilet if you need it in the middle of the night. The toilets were always a mess and the mens toilets very dirty with poo smeared and the like. Only cleaned once per day at most, the showers were very dirty as well. Not enough facilities for all the tents and caravan pitches on the site. The shop sold very little and was expensive. Games room full of broken machines, half were not even switched on. We were also sited next to a very aggressive family who were constantly shouting and swearing at their poor kids. We couldnt wait to leave. No WiFi anywhere on site, nothing in walking distance to the site. Terrible!
Pool Very nice although only 8 loungers and 5 patio chairs,not even close to what is needed, Site generally clean and litter free, Toilets awful with no extractor fans, after 8 days on site not once been there and found them acceptable, just 2 showers in the middle field and 1 at the bottom (by static caravans) for the entire site is woeful, All showers and hot water at tap FAR to high temp, 11pm noise curfew is a joke, made friends in Tents on top field that were kept up till 2am by neighboring campers drinking and loud music, they left following day as a result, all this despite having a night warden...... ? I won't even comment about the 'Kids Arcade' area (more like a broken arcade machine graveyard), in summary best potential of any site we have ever been to, let down by poor, inept management and staff, sad as kids liked the pool and site.....
Great stay, the pool was very popular with the kids. A few extra bits and bobs in the shop would be good.
